Microneedling Treatment | PureRoller | DermaRoller
Microneedling is a great treatment for many conditions. It works by pricking your skin and tricking it to renew skin cells by repairing itself.
At LaserLife Clinic, we use the Dermapure Pure Roller System to naturally improve the appearance of your skin and reverse the signs of aging.
How does Microneedling work?
The Pure Roller, also known as DermaRoller and collagen stimulation therapy uses very fine needles designed to achieve a ‘controlled injury’ to the skin. It causes controlled damage to increase the production of fresh collagen and elastin. The needles also create temporary microchannels into the skin. This allows greater absorption of products and ingredients for a more intensive treatment.
Benefits of Microneedling

Step 1 – Book a Free Consultation
Prior to treatment, you will need to arrange a consultation where one of our medical aesthetician will discuss and understand your concerns and skincare goals.
They will carry out an assessment of your skin and take a set of baseline photographs. We can refer back to these photos throughout your treatment plan to assess the effectiveness of the treatment, and monitor the skin’s improvement.
In addition, we will recommend a personalised skincare plan will based on your skin type and problem areas.
The Treatment Process
We will first double cleanse your skin using Dermaquest Peptide Glyco cleanser on dry skin with dry hands to remove all makeup.
Following this, we will then prep the skin with primer to ensure the skin is ready for treatment.
Before your treatment begins, we will apply anesthetic for 30-40 minutes before the procedure to ensure the procedure is as comfortable as possible.
We perform Skin Needling procedures in a very safe and accurate manner with the use of sterile single-use Dermaroller.
The treatment will start from the top of the forehead and we will then work our way down.
Our skilled clinician will repeat this process for the full face. After the microneedling, your trained clinician will massage the skin to ensure all the nutrients from the blood spotting and serums have penetrated.
Finally, we will then place you under an LED white light to stimulate healing and collagen on a deeper level.
Does microneedling hurt?
Our client’s often describe the treatment as a scratching sensation and you may feel some discomfort.
Following your Pure Roller treatment, your skin will feel warm with mild redness and a slight discomfort similar to mild or moderate sunburn. It is important to treat your skin gently and follow your therapist’s skincare advice. Treatment time is 1.5 hours, the great advantage of this treatment is the minimal downtime.
Please follow any aftercare recommendations
During the consultation, we’ll discuss and plan a program of 3 or 6 treatments. Leaving 2-4 weeks between each phase of the treatment program.
Each of our treatments are always performed by an experienced skin therapist fully qualified in the Dermapure Pure Roller System.
In order to determine how much your Microneedling treatment will cost, we will need to see you for a consultation. This is because no two people’s treatment goals or conditions are the same and we will need to look at your skin and the severity of any conditions in order to determine how many treatments you will need to achieve maximum results.
Our consultations are free and are a great way to discuss treatment. Please contact us to book a consultation.
